Boomerang is Groot Eiland's sustainable joinery in Anderlecht. Carpenters/instructors Tarek, Hassan and Mamadou, along with some 15 trainees, make custom-made furniture such as built-in cupboards, benches, stand-alone furniture and kitchens there. Made-to-measure
Boomerang has a fully equipped workshop to realise your project according to your wishes. We focus primarily on interior furniture, but we are also experienced in realising exterior joinery such as terraces and solid benches. Our workshop is located in Circularium, a business centre for innovation and circular production.

You go for sustainability
Boomerang is part of Groot Eiland, an organisation that provides training for people who are far from the labour market. Under expert guidance, future carpenters are given the chance to learn the trade. We work as much as possible with local and environmentally friendly types of wood and with residual wood. For example, the low-visibility interior of furniture is made in residual wood from other projects. We work with various partners to recover and reuse solid and residual wood.
We also collect sawdust from our workshop, which is used as ground cover and compost in Groot Eiland's urban agriculture projects.
